November 10, 1975 Edmund Fitzgerald sank on Lake Superior in a raging Gale with 29 men on board. Today 47 years later there’s a Gale again…in Duluth Minnesota 38 degrees 50+ mph and 12-21’ waves! No problem for my Voormi jacket, I stayed warm and dry.

Recently travelled to Iceland, where my Voormi outerwear was my go-to equipment for the rain and sleet. Cannot recommend a brand more emphatically than Voormi.

I was so impressed by your company philosophy and the nature of your products, that I bought this piece. Have an excellent experience at your retail store in Bozeman.

Found out about Voormi 2 years ago on a trip to Bozeman. Have 3 pieces Diversion hoodie that I live in, Inversion jacket for skiing and a Beanie that’s my go to. I’m a huge believer in wool clothing, using it for every day wear as well as sailing, Skiing, and mountain biking. Thank you for your commitment to produce quality clothing!

This outer shell fits perfectly, it moves with you without binding and it is a nice warm outer layer! I am very impressed with the quality and function of this piece!

Love the generous length in the arms. Hood fits comfortably over a helmet for extra warmth on a windy day. Great jacket!

Defiantly warm! Seems a bit drafty on windy days. Haven't had it in the snow or rain yet but will soon enough. I'll buy another one when this one wears out, but I don't think that will be anytime soon. Quality is great way to put out a top notch product Voormi!

I received my jacket a little over a month ago and waited with anticipation to try it out in cold weather. Texas provided 28 degrees with sleet and snow and a stiff north wind this morning. After dropping the kid off at school, I dreaded getting gas and standing in the cold but Voormi showed me what exceptional quality was. Not only did it stop all wind from reaching me, but it kept me warm while still being able to breath. If you’re looking for a superior product, Voormi is your company!

A great jacket for all year wear. Handles a broad temperature range. Very rugged, very comfortable and looks great. What more can you ask from a jacket? G

This is an awesome Jacket! I agree with one of the other reviews stating that the upper arms with the SURFACE HARDENED™ Woven Wool is kind of cold. If you are sitting on a chair lift or even in town doing errands, if you aren't moving much, you can feel the cold through the upper parts of the arms. However, when you start moving you don't notice it much. The Core Construction is excellent and breaths when you need it and keeps you warm.

I was given a zippered jacket as a gift. I love it! Great fit and is slimming, not bulky.

I like the fit and quality of construction. I have used it in the rain, but never long enough to get any soak through. It stretches and breathes very well.
I was expecting the interior to be lined with merino wool. It is, but only in the body. I thought the laminate was just on the outside of the shoulders and hood. I was expecting the entire jacket to have merino wool on the interior. OTOH, that would make it warmer, heavier, and more expensive. My biggest complaint is that wind seems to make my arms cold. I can feel the bite through the laminate. Hmmm...maybe an entire shell made of that laminate is in order? I'm conflicted on when I can use this jacket, but I do like it.

I preordered an Inversion Jacket in late November 2016, and I got the jacket the very end of January 2017. It's all that I expected. Warm, breathable, and comfortable over a wide range of temperatures. Water repellant shoulders and arms offer good protection when it's snowing, and the jacket is wind resistant. For me, wool does the very best job of keeping me warm and dry in cold, winter weather. I'm 5' 11" and 175 lbs., and the large size in the Inversion Jacket runs a little large, but the added room makes layering with a light vest underneath the jacket very easy, and with that, very cold days are very manageable.
