I am soo curvy & short in stature, its hard to find clothes that I really love but this will be a go to for all of my outdoor adventures!

I absolutely love this hoodie. I ordered a small and it fit a bit close. I do like to layer. The medium was sold out so I tried the large. Sadly, this was to large. I sent this back. I will need to wait for the Medium. Staff great to work with

I love this product. I do like to layer and the small was way to small. They only had Larges left so I exchanged it for a Large. unfortunately , this was to large. I am now waiting for my perfect Medium. Great material and craftmanship. Staff has been great to work with
Cathy G.
It will work perfectly under my waders for winter Spey casting!

Great Jacket, I wear it as an everyday hoodie and as a great layer during outdoor sports!

This is my third High-E hoodie & I love it! It is a perfect outer layer in the fall, and works well as a mid-layer in the winter. Thanks for making a great product!

Bought for wife to use in cold weather walking around the dog park. Loves the long pocket and thumb holes in sleeves. Getting a large for her size made it much easier to wear shirt underneath. She also loves the color

This is my absolute go-to for every activity from hiking up high above alpine, working in my (freezing!) office, and this upcoming winter I'm sure as a solid mid layer for nordic skiing. I first discovered Voormi while visiting Bozeman. I walked into the store, met some very friendly and knowledgeable women, and left with their Access skirt (LOVE!) I 100% always prefer wool for any of my soft goods gear. Base layers and mid layers, buffs, you name it. Wool is always the best. Breathable, temp regulating, keeps me warm, doesn't hold odors, and hardly needs to be washed. The High-E Hoodie does not disappoint. It is rugged, well-made, and keeps the wind blocked when I am breaking timberline. The torso and sleeve length are long and I appreciate that. The scuba hood is awesome to keep me warm and out of the wind. The kangaroo hand pocket is the best. It is a fairly heavy-weight mid layer and other reviews talk about the burden of carrying it. I have found (so far using it in 50 degree weather so far this fall) that I wear it the whole way up and it's not until I'm hiking back down in the late morning/afternoon sun, do I need to take it off and tie it around my waist. I use a waist pack so don't have a ton of room to stash gear. I have no problem with it around my waist. It might be a little thicker/heavier but SO worth having it. Megan at Bozeman store is amazing and cares very much about getting you in the right gear and the right size. I am 5'1 and 95 lbs. I normally wear XS. The XS in Cranberry was too tight. Megan switched me out for the S in Juniper and it is perfect. THANK YOU VOORMI!!!

The High-E Hoodie is an excellent and versatile technical mid layer. The hardened wool is highly breathable, does not hold odors, is robust and blocks wind well. My first time I took this out up high in the alpine, it was below 50 degrees and gusty. I threw the hood on, and had a lightweight wind shell on top. I was toasty warm and not at all affected by the wind. I find myself grabbing this hoodie daily, whether it's to head to work, run errands, and definitely when I'm up in the mountains on adventures. I am 5'1, 95 lbs and usually and XS. The Cranberry (bought in 9/2020) was too tight in XS. I could barely get my arms through the sleeves and the hood was super tight to pull on. So I opted for Juniper in S. Perfect fit. Hood easily goes on and I can zip up the collar to the top. Still an athletic fit but can throw over base layer. Megan at the Bozeman store is so thoughtful and caring. She really wanted to make sure I had the right piece and the right fit. Sami at the Pagosa Springs store is equally wonderful. Awesome family-run company, quality technical wool gear, and great ethos! This High-E Hoodie is an absolute dream work-horse!

Perfect gear! Did a 50 mile road ride with 5k of climbing. Post ride margarita

I had been eyeing this pullover since first learning of Voormi... after seeing it out in the wild twice in one week, I took it as a sign to finally buy one. I am so happy I did. The fit is great: long enough back so it doesn't ride up, long enough sleeves that the thumb holes don't cut off my circulation, hood that easily fits (but still snuggly) over a hat, and enough room for comfortable movement but not enough to release heat. Its first true test came for me during a four day backpacking trip in the High Uintas Wilderness, full of cold temperatures, sun, rain and hail. The pullover kept me warm when needed, dry when needed, and shaded when needed. The zipped kangaroo pouch is a nice feature for keeping hands warm and items secure.

This hoodie is SO warm!! I've hiked around 20 miles with it since my purchase. Its been great to have on hand when Colorado weather inevitably goes from hot and sunny to cool and windy. The hood is amazing. I love being able to just zip it part way and still get some wind blockage around my face without having to be fully zipped up. My only critique is that it is heavy and not packable. But honestly, I keep it in my day pack regardless because 9 times out of 10 I end up using it. Worth the weight.

I absolutely love my High-E Voormi sweater! The hood and zipper are perfect for skiing or windy/rainy days!

Love my High E for winter and spring time hiking, backpacking, and trail running! It’s also super cute to just wear around town! I have a new one in juniper (XS) (beautiful color!) and an older, worn one in vintage cranberry (XS), but the juniper one is almost too tight. I can just barely wear my River Run Hoodie underneath it, but usually I just wear it by itself or with a tank top because the sleeves feel too tight. Maybe my cranberry one fits better because it’s more worn and stretches over time? Only time will tell. Regardless, I love them both! The soft liner (which does get a lot softer over time), and the more durable shell is perfect for outdoor adventures and all-day wear. I love the kangaroo pocket, and that both sides zip. The balaclava-style hoodie has saved by butt in windy, cold times. And the thumb holes are comfy. I don’t know what else to say other than get this if you’re looking for a warmer, odor-resistant, breathable layer for colder conditions!

The material is super cozy and comfy! Just love it!

This hoodie is amazing. I have used it as my go-to mid layer for cross country skiing in Glacier National Park, snowboarding and skiing (I’m on the mountain a few times a week), snowshoeing, and for generally living my life. It’s almost sad that this hoodie is so good. I will probably never need another mid layer. It’s just such a great piece of gear. If you’re on the edge about buying this hoodie, just do it. It’s totally worth it.

2nd one I purchased. Love the 1st so much, I wanted another just for running. Stays warm but breathable during MN winter runs & can go awhile between washes (which it does well too)! Excellent product!

Amazing quality and wonderful customer service. The product lives up to its reputation and is better than anything else I have tried.

Bought this to layer under a rain jacket/windbreaker on cold fishing days when the run out to the marsh can be brutal. I have a Voormi hooded sweatshirt which is great for this but a tad bulky. The high -e hoody is not bulky at all but just as warm. Very pleased with all my Voormi garments although in the Deep South don’t get to wear them often. I know when I do, however, I will be warm .

Bought it for my wife Xmas. She loves it. The pony tail access on the back of the hood is an added bonus. She had bought one for me and WANTED one. Surprise. Super warm and incredible fit.

so how often do you find a mid-layer that is warm, breathable, wind-blocking, comfortable, flexible, and even stylish, while also featuring a snug hood and a v-neck for easy-on, easy-off? slim pickings out there. so along comes Voormi, and hits it out of the park with the High-E Hoodie. not for bargain-basement shoppers, but who isn't willing to pay for performance this good?

I have always loved the functionality of wool. This piece is extraordinary.....the weight of the fabric, the scuba hood, the exceptional fit, kangaroo pocket up front.......Yup! I would say it’s perfect! It fits under my biking helmet. It’s a dog-walkers dream on frosty mornings. Will give it a go skiing when I can.... The color is a new one for me and I love it!
After all this, I can say it’s made in America. Hell yeah!

I wore the high E hoodie on a cold day skiing around the Hyalite Resevoir. With a vest and shell jacket, I was warm all day. The garment fits me very well and I like the length and close fit at the neck. I love the orchid color.

I honestly had never heard of Voormi before I got this hoodie for Christmas last year but now I'm a firm believer! I wore it day and night on a 10 day backcountry fishing/float trip in Alaska this summer. It looks and smells as good as it did the day I got it and it held up fantastically in the tough Alaska weather. I've also found it to be just as awesome on hunting trips and car camping. It's an amazingly rugged but cozy piece of gear. I can't rave enough about how amazing it is!

I bought my first Voormi hoodie at Telluride. I decided to try it out this winter and was amazed at how warm it was. I decided to take the plunge on buying the high-e hoodie. I have worn it trail running with 40 mph head winds, running in massive snow storms and it has yet to disappoint. It amazes me how warm and comfortable it is. The zip up hood is fantastic when it’s super cold or windy I am so happy with this hoodie.

I pulled this hoodie straight out of the package, wore it for a month straight of winter running in Wyoming, finally washed it, threw it in my bag to go climb Mt. Kilimanjaro over the holidays and hardly ever took it off. In fact, I'm wearing it right now. It's tough, warm, very well made, and stylish for a performance piece. I am a wool producer and this product somehow exceeded my already high expectations. I would stand on a mountaintop and shout the praises of this hoodie, and that's pretty much exactly what I did!

Perfect & washes wonderfully

I’m not normally one to use a hood but loved the style and look. This is my entry to Voormi and was impressed with the fit, feel and look. While all that is great, I put it to the test this past week in Joshua Tree. We had high winds, rain and cold- the trifecta. The elements were no match and loved my warm hood. It kept me appropriately warm but never overheated. I can’t wait to add another piece to my collection! Thanks.

I’ve worn this hoodie nearly every day since I received it, and am impressed every time I pull it on! It’s a great piece for winter running in Wyoming weather (I throw it over a sports bra and maybe a light layer, sometimes under a windbreaker), and have never been anything but comfortable in a wide range of conditions. Don’t underestimate how warm this hoodie is! I just took it to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro and wore it nearly 24/7 for 9 days. It wicks moisture, is cozy and soft, breathable, layers great, fits true to size with a full range of movement, and is extremely odor resistant. It pills a bit, but significantly less than other performance wool pieces I own. Thank you, Voormi!!

So glad to have discovered Voormi. Being that it's made right there in Pagosa Springs, behind Julie and Marty's pad, makes it even better!
Steven L.
This is the warmest sweater I have ever owned. I love it.

I recently took my hoodie on a European vacation. Though it rained quite a bit, the hoodie kept me dry and quickly dried overnight.

As an outdoor professional, this summer I used the Voormi river run hoodie for sun protection and daily wear and I was obsessed with it. When temps started to drop here in Idaho for the winter I knew I wanted to order something for colder temperatures. The colors I wanted were on backorder and so I waited FOREVER for this item to be off of backorder.
TOTALLY WORTH THE WAIT.
I do a lot of woodworking, outdoor galavanting, and crosscountry skiing in the winter and so far this has been awesome for all of the above. The inside fabric is incredibly soft and comfortable so if I decide to just wear a tank top underneath I'm still cozy. The garment itself is super durable and well made, and I love that the cut is feminine without sacrificing usability.
I've got my eye on trying out some of their base layers next...^_^
Nehemiah C.
What an amazing product! Couldn’t believe how warm and comfortable they are! Too notch product!
Cynthia F.
Recently moved to Montana and my Voormi has become my go to either outer or base layer. The hoodie really comes in handy when you forget to bring your beanie. Remains warm even when you reach in for the big fish and your sleeves get wet. Well worth the price.
Amy B.
The support at Voormi is outstanding!! Brian was amazing to work with and I am delighted with my new High-E!

My daughter loved it.

Love it! I have a long torso and arms. I always struggle finding tops that are long enough but not overly bulky. This top is cozy, long enough, well designed and fashionable for mtn town living!

I purchased this to be able to keep warm while running in the winter. I have to put layers underneath. If it is windy I would need a top layer as it is not windproof. I did a run yesterday , the temp was 45 with out wind. I was very toasty. I am not sure if these are rated for specific temp ranges. I may have been a bit naive that it would be ok for temps below 32F
This hoodie is beautifully made.

I love this purchase. I probably wear it WAY too much but it suits my outdoor lifestyle perfectly. Great material, warming - but not stifling - and quite pretty. I live on a small ranch on a river, have horses, love to hike, love to ski, and have soooooooooooo much glorious work. I've received lots of 'envious' compliments. I'm looking for my next personal Voormi purchase.
Katy B.
Received this as a solstice gift and absolutely love it. Have hardly taken it off since I got it. My only complaint is that the kangaroo pocket is attached to the front panel just below the center line of my boobs. It would look better if that seam were an inch lower.
Nikki E.
I love all of my gear.
Love the quality, feel, fit and the way it wears. I'll be back for more. Thank you!!
Shawn H.
Love the extra length and the warmth.

11,000 ft in the eastern Sierra Nevada on a weather station installation mission. The jacket breathed well on the hike up yet kept me warm during the installation. Thanks to the Voormi folks I met at ISSW 2016 for introducing me to this ultra functional and stylish piece!
Best, Sue Burak

Love this hoodie - cant wait until the weather turns cooler so I can actually get some wear out of it. The sleeve length is a bit long but otherwise the fit is terrific.
James K.
haven't worn it fishing yet but just around town. The quality, fit and feel are second to none.
