I just took my Diversion Hoodie on a week long fishing trip out on Lake Superior in Ontario. It was awesome in the mornings and evenings as well as some long cool boat rides. Very easy to roll up in the hood and pack in my dry bag. Excellent product and the best Hoodie I own by far!
Josh B.
Love the hoodie!!! I’ve had it for about a month and have definitely gallivanted enough in it now that its my go too! Its light and warm! Thanks!!

I did try to go to the store twice when they were closed. It was nice to get over there when the shop was open. Great staff, selection was limited due to waiting on a material shipment.

This is the piece I have been looking for. Picked mine up in Bozeman. Staff there was very knowledgeable and helpful-shout out Dylan.
Worn over base layer and under shell for skiing-perfect for temperature ranges down to the low twenties Fahrenheit. Great thermoregulating properties. Full zip allows me to dump heat for warmer days. As ski patrol member, my colleagues and I are always searching for high performing, durable, purpose driven gear. I found it here.
Other great features include great durability, wool (low stink, natural wicking, quiet), and made in USA.
This piece is also great as a stand alone outer layer around town.
I am typically between medium and large; medium was a bit snug across shoulders and chest. I'm not swimming in large but can definitely layer additionally underneath if needed.
I am definitely happy with this and plan to add more pieces to my quiver.

I own a jacket that was a large and loved the fit, but it was athletic fit. I originally purchase the hoodie in a large and it was cut too large in the body. I exchanged it for a medium, and the fit is much better in the body and length is fine (I often where medium talls). Customer service was excellent. I have received several comments on the Hatch color, which was different color than the large one, but I like it. The hoodie is the perfect underlayer for a soft shell or rain jacket when it is little colder out. Wear it regularly in Oregon winter days and stay warm even down in the high 30s. Will be great for fishing on late fall mornings. This is my fourth piece of Voormi clothing I own and all of it is well made and the fabric is great. Little costly, but you get what you pay for. No hesitation in recommending product to anyone considering spending the money.

This is a fantastic garment and is my go to piece. The relaxed fit had me go down a size. Durability is amazing. After two years, still looks like new.
Bryan T.
Great piece of gear/clothing! Fit is relaxed so good for some light layers if needed. I’m about 45.5” chest and fit is spot on, length in the sleeves are great. My new go to! Wear it as a layer under my ANFO jacket while patrolling and others shells while riding. Love that is a great stand alone piece that also looks nice if I need to “dress up” not gonna lie kind of a Voormi fanboy great company to deal with awesome products produced right here in the USA!

Very surprised to not see a review here from me, as I review everything, good or bad. I guess I forgot somehow.
Anyways, bought this back in June, after waiting for a long time on a color that never came back into stock, and actually glad now that it didn't, as navy is such a good looking color in this jacket.
I live in AZ, so the only times I really wear anything other than shorts and sleeveless shirts, is when I go skiing, or to the mountains, where there's snow.
I skied Deer Valley last week and it was pretty chilly with LOTS of snow falling every single day. Although I didn't wear this as a mid-layer or outer layer skiing, it was very quickly my go-to jacket for going outside, whether that was dinner, hanging by a fire, hanging on the balcony, or just walking around town.
Super comfy, warm, and basically everything I look for in a winter jacket. I'm not a big hood guy, but I now see how a great hood can complete a jacket, and I have to admit, I used the hood more than not.
For me, it's pretty easy to pick out various brands...and I appreciate brands that peeps know and respect. With Voormi, it's much less obvious and not what you'd call a super well known brand. BUT...
...I was having dinner in an upscale restaurant at the Canyons base, and our waitress asked me if I was wearing Voormi. I kinda laughed...and was very impressed, as well, and told her it was, and it's the Diversion Hoodie. She asked if she could touch it, as she had never seen one in the flesh. She gushed about wanting one, but not being able to afford one.
Cool stuff...kinda like Arc'teryx back in the early/mid 90's.
Absolutely LOVE my Diversion Hoodie. If you're wondering if it's worth the price, wonder no more - it is...and more.
Tim L.
I had been looking at the Diversion Hoodie for a while. I often fall in between sizes because of my thin build, wide shoulders and long arms. Stopped in the Pagosa store recently and got the right fit and size. The sleeve length is perfect. It does fit a little loose in the body, but that allows me to layer when I need. I went with a size large (6'1, 170 lbs). I really like how wool naturally regulates my body temperature depending on my activity level. I love Voormi products and try to support local/small business as much as possible. The quality and attention to detail to top notch.
Mark B.
I think it's my favorite piece of clothing. I wear it almost every day for months at a time.
Absolutely perfect for hiking on a brisk 47° day in canyon county...
Arvind M.
Love the jacket design, however, the small - which is what I usually order for Voormi tops - was massive. Sadly, I had to return it.
John M.
Didn’t love the design ..very relaxed fit ..too much for me
John C.
Great quality materials and little touches such as Voormi zipper pulls. Plenty of pockets and is definitely warm for the lightness of the material.
Matthew S.
Great fall jacket for all different kinds of activities!
Chris C.
This is a terrific garment. I’m a 67 year-old who does a lot of hiking and climbing in the summer. I went back and forth between the anorak and this zip-up, and agonized over the choice. The staff in the Bozeman store were very patient. The anorak is cut pretty tight, fit model is apparently 6’4” and 150 lbs— not me at 5’11”, 178. Large was too snug. Zip-up in medium, however, was perfect, as the cut is looser. Maiden voyage was a hike in the Spanish Peaks up above 10,000 ft. on a chilly high 40’s day with lots of wind. I was comfortable in the jacket with just a thin wool t-shirt and thin wool vest underneath, despite snow on the descent. I’d say this thing is 85% windproof, sheds water (though likely not heavy rain) and breathes beautifully. Couldn’t be happier with it, well done Voormi!
John M.
Opening at the collar us too large when zipped up. Have to cinch the hood up to narrow it but still let’s too much air in
Paul V.
This is unequivocally one of the coolest pieces of gear that I have purchased in years. Really it lives up to the hype and the price. I’m with you I had sticker shock the first time I stepped into the store, then I realized they see them in the US even some right here in Bozeman. So I took a chance on this one needing it for some tough outdoor weather for outdoor pursuits, it performed incredibly. High wind no prob, a little sideways rain, no prob, temps in the 50s and my continually rising body temp from my run, also no problem. Love it, and it looks really sharp in Cinder/Emerald

the camo concealment color is amazing in person. the pictures on the website don't do it justice
Doug C.
Always great. Like each piece I buy.
Rick H.
I took off for a trip to blustery Chicago in March and forgot my heavy coat. The Voormi hoodie saved my bacon -- never got cold, even when the arctic front dropped ice and 40 mph winds. Amazing. (Just one quibble, tho: The fabric picks up Labrador retriever hair like a magnet.)
David P.
Great fit and love that it is made in the USA.
Outdoor P.
The hoodie is definitely well built. The materials used are quality. Where it loses a star is in the fit there should be a wrist cinch or strap. I have an athletic build and my wrist are large and the cuffs were swimming on me to the point where I had to take it to get hemmed. The waist needs to be taken in a bit as well I get the loose style fitting but this is a little overboard.
Daniel L.
Great hoodie! I also wanted to add the guy Nicholas C that left you a bad review is kind of foolish. Obviously did not read any of the descriptions for his Voormi purchases. Most of the Voormi products are athletic fit, the fit for this product is relaxed.
Chris J.
This hoodie runs very large. I'm 6'1", 225 lbs and an avid weight lifter and endurance athlete. I understood that it was a relaxed fit, but I didn't expect it to be this large.
steve a.
Once again, XL fits like an XL. Can’t beat the material and comfort and blocks the wind nicely here in Colorado. 98% of other brands “XL” is too small for big dudes.
Kelly L.
Bought this as a gift for my dad and he LOVED it! Warm high tech fabric from an awesome company. What more can you ask for? Nothing!
Ricardo V.
I bought the drift jacket in xxl. I also purchased the eleven 9 hoodie in xxl. There is a more size discrepancy. This time I bough my hoodie xxl just in case it was comparable to the eleven 9 hoodie. It’s not it’s swimming on me.
W. K. L.
A great product. The color is a tad bright, yellowish, for the he winter marsh I hunt in. Is is still doing quiet well. I have tried to tone the color down by dunking it in muddy water. The trouble is...dirt doesn't like to stick to it.
Still. I highly recommend the product.
Aaron S.
Excellent jacket. Just a perfect compliment to my wardrobe.
Brian B.
Outstanding construction and the perfect blend of warmth and weight. I like it so much I bought one for my brother.
Bob F.
Absolutely incredible! I have had this for a few weeks, and am in love! I have been wearing this daily in the duck marsh, and also around town. This will be the perfect mid-layer under a waterproof shell in miserable conditions, and perfect outerwear for cool and dry conditions. I envision this being used in a wide variety of activities, from waterfowl to upland to big game hunting, chilly mornings in the drift boat, campfires on raft trips, etc. Highly recommend, you will not regret!

I also have the 1st generation hoodie. You guys have learned a lot and improved this hoodie in a every way.
Thanks for making a kick ass piece clothing that i can rely on. It's my go to!
Aaron M.
This is a great hoodie for morning on the porch drinking coffee watching the sunrise. Keeps me warm and doesn’t get too hot and the hood is great as well as the little thumb holes!
Mario L.
An amazing jacket. I wear it every day and probably will until next summer! It's comfy and does a great job of keeping you dry in the rain.
Lisa F.
Took this on a River Trip 12 days on the Colorado down the Grand Canyon. I was perfect..
Jad L.
Looks great, feels amazing. Ended up swapping for an XL.
Haven't taken out in the elements yet but was hoping for more wool content.
Excellent customer service! Thanks Voormi
Peter B.
Love your product line as I have quite a number of your products and enjoy them very much. Wrote out my first hoodie
Nicholas C.
Disappointed! I've purchased many times from Voormi. I'm not turned off of the higher than normal prices because the quality is usually excellent. The hoody I purchased in XL, which is the only size I get from Voormi, is SWIMMING on me., like meant for 2 people swimming on me! It's not the typical XL athletic fit I've come to expect from them. I'm 6'2" / 210lbs. with a solid build. When brought to their attention, I got the typical company policy spew about not providing pre-paid return labels. They didn't care about the hundreds I've spent with them on a yearly basis for the past few years. Bad business relations. I'm honestly considering taking my business elsewhere. There are other product lines that rival or exceed theirs. I was trying to support a company here in the states. They should have stated clearly that the hoody is cut extra generously than than other XLs in different garments.
Ovidiu L.
The hoodie was too large in size L and I have replaced it with size M which is perfect. All my other Voormi garments are size L but this was the first one that is “relaxed fit” so from now on I will get a size M for the “relaxed fit” and size L for the “athletic fit”. Fantastic quality as I’ve come to expect from Voormi.
Nora M.
Bought this jacket for my husband to replace his 15 year old 2 zippers later REI recreational jacket. This is his new favorite and he hopes to get just as much wear and longevity. Thank you VOORMI for the perfect 55th bday present.
Troy O.
Love the Quality of Voormi products!
Dan P.
I love it!!!!!!!!!!!
Bill G.
Hatch color, wonderful feel. Perfect outer layer for layering with Simms waders.
Plenty of storage options with pocket arrangement. Perfect for Sierra streams
and Teton valley weather changes. Thumb slots are a nice touch. Thank you,
job well done!

Based on the description as 'relaxed' fit I sized down to a medium and I'm glad I did! I'm going to keep it but it is borderline too big still, and feels kind of bulky. Should I really have ordered a small? Come on, now. The quality is fantastic and I've been waiting for this style and color combo for a long time. Looking forward to putting it to use in the field!
Richard L.
This is a great hoodie, that i use all the time. I am in between an XXL and an XL, so I suggest trying it on before buying. It is attractive for everyday wear, and very durable for athletic use. It is very much of a "go to" garment, as it works for all occasions.
John C.
I wear this inside and outside for work in the high mountain elements. Breaths well and is very comfortable inside, feels burly and rugged enough for the below zero temps outside. Seems like it should be another long lasting great piece from Voormi!
Kent H.
The diversion hoodie is rapidly moving to the top of my wardrobe go-to list. The quality is superb, the piece is versatile for active pursuits and casual wear after. It insulates, cuts the wind, wicks and breathes. Nice work Voormi!
Sherry B.
Matt needed an XL in the heavy sweatshirt but XL was too long and wide for the jacket. He is exchanging the jacket
John B.
I didn’t realize this jacket fits my needs for warmth during the in between seasons of fall and spring. The radiant warmth is amazing and it blocks the wind as well. I expect to get many miles from this jacket.
Kevin M.
Much more relaxed fit than the HIgh E. Plenty of room for a base layer to go under. As usual Voormi knocked it out of the park.
Michael D.
Very warm, I’ve worn it outside in Virginia, I expect it will be a year-round jacket! Love the quality, and love that it’s made in USA!
Larry M.
So much wanted to keep this but the sleeve and torso length just was not long enough for me. Sleeve length especially is always a challenge and expected more length related to the built in thumbholes. Hoped it would fit like my River Run Hoodie which I love. It’s quality was wonderful and it’s why it was so disappointing to have to return it. Paying a premium for quality clothing is appropriate but it also has to fit and understand we are all built just a little differently. Return policy super easy, just don’t like having to pay the freight each time something doesn’t work. Voormi gift cards has been my go to choice for my immediate family and will continue to support its people and products.
William D.
Great Voormi quality as always. This hoodie has a more relaxed fit than some of their other garments that I own, perfect for casual wear. Warm but breathable, I'd suggest this for cool Fall days and will work in the winter provided you layer.
Mike M.
Voormi was born in our small So.Western Colorado Town, and I have come to know most everyone on the Voormi team. Their commitment to constantly strive to take their products to the next level are simply unmatched. As an owner of many Voormi garments from socks to jackets, i have worn and abused these in just about every weather conditions you can imagine. Weather it be flyfishing on the Rio Grande, or skiing at Wolf Creek, i find my self grabbing one of my Voormi pieces daily. Join the team, you will be not be disappointed ! Oh, and made in the USA ! Que the stoke !!
Rick H.
Love the quality, the material, the functionality, the look. Size seemed to run pretty large and although i like looser fitting, unrestricted clothing it seemed to be a little too loose for someone my size. Overall its a very high quality item with a lot of attention to detail.
Robert U.
This review will have to do more with fit than performance as we haven't really had the weather here to actually use the hoodie for what it's meant for (other than taking the dog out in 42 degree weather in the morning - which I was perfectly warm and not moving very much at that). The materials feel really nice and very good quality. They seem like they will hold up for a very long time. Fit and finish are outstanding.
I was worried about the "relaxed fit" of the Diversion Hoodie. I'm 6'1" and weigh 170lbs, but I have a 46" chest and a 31" waist. I typically wear a medium in most shirts, coats and light jackets. I do have some issues with shoulder room when stretching in some jackets, but not in the Diversion hoodie. It fits perfectly in the chest and arms. Sleeve length is great too with the integrated thumb holes.
The fit around the mid-section is where a "Relaxed Fit" usually means way too baggy for me. That is not the case with the Diversion Hoodie. It fits basically like any other hoodie. While there is a little extra room for me, it's not too much. If you have a few more inches in the mid-section, you'll be good-to-go too. I can see this hoodie working very well for me in colder weather with just a flannel underneath.
Oh, Voormi doesn't do as good a job as they could with the versatility of this hoodie. There are pockets EVERYWHERE! There are of course the two zippered outer pockets, but then there's an inner zipped chest pocket and two very large inner lower pockets that are split and have sub-pockets within the pocket! Talk about storage! This will help out greatly on long hikes and while working outside for extended periods. It was a really nice surprise.
I'm looking forward to actually being able to use the Diversion Hoodie as it's intended. I will follow-up with another review once I get some use.
Chad H.
Very nice textiles and eager to try it out. However, very poor fit. HUGE in the body & waist areas. Not for athletic builds at all. Sent it back. Hoping the Confluence is a better option.
Stephen A.
Great product! Good for casual 50 degree weather, maybe 35-40 heavy aerobic. Doesn’t cut the wind well, a wind/rain break is needed.
David H.
Once I put it on, I really haven’t taken it off. Really comfortable in all types of temperatures. One of my favorite pieces!
Doug C.
haven't worn it outside yet but like all your stuff, really like it.
Codye C.
Bought this for my husband. He has been hinting/asking outright for one for months. He's hard on clothes, but having a Voormi pullover myself, I knew the quality was worth the price.
Plus it looks great on him!
Lonnie L.
Great zip up hoodie!
Gerrall T.
Really great piece. Would prefer a slimmer fit (similar to the new drift jacket), the sleeves could be half an inch longer, and sometimes the plastic (?) on the inside of the thumb holes will catch your arm a funny way. All in all very minor issues compared to the quality of this piece. Far more rugged than expected and quite warm!
Morgan D.
As a proud owner of both a sportsman two pocket hoodie and a High-E hoodie, this hoodie is the perfect in-between! The hood is much more casual than the high-e but using the same material makes it durable and warm. Voormi has truly outdone themselves this time!
Scott K.
Have been wanting to experience Voormi to see what the fuss was about. I love the quality and the look. Not to mention a fantastic logo. Quality will hold up to just about anything you throw at it. I purchased mine at a retail store in Bozeman and the staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. Great product and great company.
Jeff F.
I'm not much of a writer but I like the hoodie it's warm not rough wool. Thank you.
James H.
Great for everything
Will C.
It is just as I had expected. Warm and form fitting.
Rich C.
Love this hoodie! The Diversion is a great update to the Confluence with a zipper that comes up at least an inch or two higher on the neck. The hood is also an improvement since it is a good balance between a very relaxed fit (Confluence jacket has a more relaxed fit hood) and balaclava fit (like the High-E hoodie). This is great since I can zip up the jacket with the hood and it will fit under a snowboarding helmet or climbing helmet, something that can't really be done with the previous Confluence jacket. Very versatile jacket that I wear snowboarding, fishing, hiking, walking the dogs, and around the office. One thing to note though is that the fit of the Diversion is definitely relaxed when compared to the athletic fit of the Confluence. I had a Confluence in size medium that fit perfectly and ordered a size medium in the Diversion that was WAY to loose in the lower torso/abdomen area. I then ordered a size small and it fits perfectly. I also have the River Run Hoodie in size medium that is a relaxed fit and fits fine, so not sure why the Diversion is so huge. So I recommend sizing down from your usual size, especially if you fit into any of the other Voormi products that have an athletic fit.
Mark M.
Absolute BadAss comfortable!!!
Quality build!!!
Many positive comments on the looks.
Surprisingly warm also.
Have had a chest cold for a couple weeks so I haven’t been able to field test it as such.
Will hit the river fly fishing ASAP and maybe send photos.
Definitely the cure for the common cold! LL
Love it and will be ordering another color, Soon!!!
Thanx again for the Great gear and the Best customer service-Mac

The husband loves it
