VOORMI has always seen clothing differently. From day one, we believed clothing should do more, not just cover you, but sense what you need and respond to it. The best clothing shouldn't demand your attention at all. It should fall into the background of your life, working with whatever you're doing so you don't have to think about it. That's where our tagline comes from: The Future of Clothing.
We're ushering in the next phase of VOORMI, beginning with our Bozeman location. We'll close our retail doors on Main Street on August 22, 2026. This isn't a step back from retail. It's a step toward the future of clothing using Mij™, the technology we've been building toward since day one.
First came merino wool. Then came CORE CONSTRUCTION® the premium merino wool with a membrane woven right into the fabric, our first proof of clothing that does more. It needs no chemical treatments on the outside to protect the wearer, and it breathes with the wearer, which is why it can be worn most of the year. It's a big reason so many of you fell in love with VOORMI in the first place, and it is this same thinking that was part of why VOORMI won an Innovation Award at the Consumer Electronics Show in 2025 for Mij™ Technology.
Now we're taking it further. Human telemetry means clothing that can sense things like temperature, moisture, and movement, and adjust before you even notice the change. Getting there means we need more than a retail floor. We need room to think beyond what traditional retail looks like. This is a different playbook, one that hasn't been developed yet, built through testing and iteration.
That work starts at the Engine Works Innovation Campus in Bozeman (in partnership with Charter Realty), where we'll continue developing Mij, our biometric textile platform. This space won't be a store. We won't be selling anything there. It's where the next phase of VOORMI gets built alongside some of the most innovative brands in the country.
