I've had this for a couple years now. I'm 6' 2" @ 212 lbs. I always follow the care instructions to the letter, these garments are too expensive to NOT do that. Made no difference, it shrunk... and not by a little. The sleeves are at a minimum, 2-3" too short... same with the body length. WTH? Voormi needs better consistency with sleeve length throughout their lineup. Some XL's have sleeve length all day long... others, like the henley are ridiculous. It's a shame because the concept and overall look for the henley is nice. Like most garments these days, these are made for shorter, smaller build men. If you are tall with an athletic build ( chest , arms and shoulders) ... move along. You'd be wasting your time and money. This, unfortunately sits in my closet and only takes up room. It always bothered me I never did a review because it was expensive. I don't mind a high price if a garment delivers. This doesn't.

I LOVE this shirt!! It fits perfectly. I am 6'2", 200 lbs. with a swimmer's build. I wear a short sleeve t-shirt under my shirts. When I wear a t-shirt under this shirt it's snug in the top torso, but not too snug. Would definitely recommend.

This was a significant addition to my warm weather gear. I have used it as an outer layer with just a cotton tee in windy high 40s/low 50s temps, as a mid-layer under my High E hoodie in mid 20s temps, and as mid under some 100% wool outerwear I have in very cold weather. In each case I was warmer than expected especially with my wool gear. My biggest surprise was how warm this and the High E kept me.
I was worried about sleeve length and overall length but didn't need to be because both are perfect. I am beyond satisfied with this purchase.

Since discovering Voormi a couple of years ago, I've become a real fan. My first piece was the High-E Hoody which I found spectacular as a mid-layer for deep winter high activity, especially when used over a Voormi tech base layer. I sweat a lot and the Voormi kept me feeling warm and dry. However, I felt the High-E was not as cozy or snuggly (technical terms) for more casual use. After getting great recommendations from Kitt in customer service at Voormi, I put the thermal henley on my Christmas list and Santa was good to me! The fit is right on for me, with arm length, body and overall length all perfect for me. I wear this all the time that I'm not climbing mountains, running with the dog, or sludging through the slush. The Thermal Henley works great for everyday winter life in New Hampshire, and helps me keep the thermostat set down in perfect comfort. Great Stuff!

I cannot say enough good things about this shirt. I wear it everywhere.

What a shirt!! I love this shirt. I was initially worried that I would not like the percentage of wool. I am picky about my materials. I like natural materials only. Everything else feels like I am wearing a garbage bag. Not this shirt. Perfect in every way!

Pretty warm, I work outside at an airport in the early morning hours when it is the coldest. I wear this over a wool t shirt and under a zip t neck. It is warm, I am 5'7 165, the medium fits well, better than the athletic fit mediums that do not accommodate my shoulders or chest.
I would like a greater wool to nylon ratio that I enjoy with my High E Hoodie and even my 11.9 hoodie. I wear this at least 4 days a week for 5 hoours at a time. I hope it wears as well as my other Voormi pieces

It is very warm, and absolutely no itch or irritating rub from wool.
Very smooth fabric
Kept me warm at the top of Wolf Creek, and not clammy
Greatest thing is
MADE IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
I will be buying more of your goods

I live in California so I'm never going to be cold again. I'm impressed with the durability reminds me of my old British commando sweater.

1st...I haven't worn out due to a Heat Index of 109°. However, I have set my a.c. to 60 on High for 24hrs to test...lol...so far, "I LOVE IT!"
SO...I've worn now for 24hrs. It does have a snugger fit than my Sportman's Hoodie in XL. I don't have any issue due to the fact that this is a base/mid layer first; it's an outer layer second.
I'm VERY impressed with its dense/thick fabric very similar to my Camp Sweater, but thicker. With this, I was worried that it wouldn't feel right during physical activity. Voormi thought of this by designing unique stretchiness. I'm old school...I hate the "new stretch fad" in clothing. This...this is 100% superior by design. Even when stretching, it remains dense. Therefore, maintaining it wind-stopping characteristics.(yup! I sat in front of duct blowing out 38° air.)
The workmanship is impeccable! Seams are perfect and multiple lines of thread are parallel. Almost as if an architect/engineer did the work of the seamstress. Worth EVERY penny!
I'd love to have a double layered, full-size blanket made of this material; the same material used in one of Voormi's most expensive items...the Drift Jacket(hence the description online stating that it's "made from drift fabric"...thanks Jon!, wink)
I can't wait until we get our first Arctic Blast this winter. Teens/twenties with winds at 20-30mph should be a decent test to layer up a few different garments from my Voormi Investments. Keep this in mind...if you're old-school leaning like myself, then you believe wool is the best for almost every circumstance. The clothing industry has taken advantage of this by out-sourcing, then charging exorbitant retail prices(take a peek at Woolrich & the like...ridiculous!). Voormi is perfect to take its place! To think that a "new" company can come in, be compared to companies that have an American heritage reputation over 100yrs(Filson, Woolrich, etc.), all while being innovative and Made in the U.S. ...WOW!
BUY THIS & 1 OF EVERYTHING ELSE! Yes it's an investment, but definitely one you won't regret. Follows along the same guidelines as the old saying, "If you want to be happy...always buy the BEST mattress, shoes, & tires!" In regards to "working-garments", one should have wool in their closet...but, Voormi has made these fashionable in a way that they will be for YEARS to come! Investment...

Perfect fit. Excellent for a day in the 50s. Will be back for more Voormi!

I love the new henly, it is a great layering item on super cold days or wear it as your outside layer on moderate days. It sheds light precipitation well. All in all, a great garment!

Love this jacket! I have been waiting for Voormi to make this jacket for 2 years. I bought the Light Cinder 2 years ago and thought the "light" referred to the color only to realize it was in reference to the weight, and ended up returning it. The weight of this jacket is exactly what I was looking for and whenever I wear it I inevitably receive a compliment from someone about it.
As for sizing, I initially ordered the Medium, which is what I wear in the Tech Tee and Camp Sweater but in this Drift Jacket it was looking a little big. I ordered a small to see if that fit better and it fit perfectly. Thanks Voormi for another fantastic product!

I bought the Sportsmen’s Henley last year and love it. So, when Voormi came out with the Thermal Henley it was a must buy. I can’t believe how warm this Henley is and it blocks out the wind so in many situations, it’s the perfect go to outer layer. Rugged on the outside but soft and cuddly on the inside. I wear it with just a short sleeve T-shirt underneath and that’s all I need. It looks sharp and will no doubt serve me for many years to come. The only downside is from a packability standpoint, it’s a tad bulky and doesn’t compress much...so don’t pack it, just wear it.
