I wear it for running up to about 80 humid degrees to keep sun off. In winter it’s all I need down to the low 40s.

The most functional outer layer in my road running kit, and also great for trail runs. So light and small it stores in a waist belt pocket. The amazing part is it doesn’t get sweat-logged even on 20-plus mile runs. The moisture is steadily pulled from the inside to the outside of the fabric and then evaporates. Very soft and featherweight but durable. This is one piece of gear that I won’t leave home without.

Love this hoodie! 5 days backpacking the Tonto trail in Grand Canyon and all I had was the road runner and a short sleeve tech tee for tops. Both performed better than expected. Bottom line...I’m buying more

This is an awesome hoodie, great fit I wish it came in other colors though because mine is super dirty looking now. Maybe something darker with some reflective strips all over would be a better choice for those of us who get our gear a little dirtier.

We have a few Voormi pieces in the house between my wife and I. The only problem ,we have, is the more pieces we order and wear the more pieces get added to the collection. Outstanding quality and design.

I've been wearing The New Merino since it first started showing up... how ever many years ago... and I've tried every possible permutation of fibers... and this hoody is the best performance garment I've worn. One cool morning, four miles into a six mile workout, I brushed my hand across the fabric, and realized the exterior of the garment looked like I had been running in a dense fog; inside, I was perfectly dry and comfortable: the fabric was pulling the moisture off of me and sending it to the outer surface, exactly as promised. Even when taking off a light pack at a workout midpoint, the garment where the pack has ridden doesn't have the clamminess of other fabrics, and when the pack goes back on there isn't that moment of icy compression as the shirt is pressed up against the skin. I’ve been wearing it sixty+ miles/week for four months, and washing it weekly (gentle cycle, Kookaburra wool soap, air dry), and it shows no wear, and the color is as bright as the day it showed up (and it is bright: the pictures do not exaggerate). Voormi has done the homework and produced the best active base-layer available.

Great hoody. Fits great. Love the fabric, how lightweight it is. I love running outdoors in the winter and this will get a lot of usage. I also coach HS track and cross country. The bright color will make me easy to find at meets.
