So far so good, this is my new Go-To jacket for everything that isn't rain or below 40deg. Durable as heck and sheds some water to.
Gonna be just a little too heavy for light and fast backpacking, but perfect for everything else. Biking, hiking, climbing, warm skiing, even exploring mountain passes in a UTV.

Apparently thay made a black hoodie in this style at some point. Not sure why it's not available? Thay have 2 other colors though

This is the most amazing hoodie I have ever purchased... super comfy, fits pretty great too... just a tad short but even though... totally worth it... I definitely recommend...

The confluence hoodie is a great full zip hoodie for every occasion. The cut is fantastic, and it’s extremely comfortable- I wear it a lot in the early mornings or when out hiking in the mountains. The Confluence Hoodie is a great Mid layer over the Long sleeve Tech Tee. Another great purchase!

Super comfortable and well made! Zippered hand pockets are large and warm. Fit is nice and the sleeves aren’t too tight on the forearms. Sleeve length is also perfect.

Love the product. I'm tall and have to get a 2x for length. An XL tall would be dreamy.
Philip N.
Overall a great hoodie. So much warmer than any other sweatshirt! My only complaint which has been brought up by others is that the zipper does not zip high enough. Need so zip up another inch or two and then it would be perfect. Great quality.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. We heard about your products while traveling through Pagosa Springs this fall. He absolutely loves it. I’m glad it was worth the price, we don’t mind paying extra for good quality.

Incredible . . . I’m a walking ad for voormi . . . An inner jacket, a vest, an overcoat. I din’t Even have words. I gave my son the first layer and he says I love it, fits perfect, now I wear it to work. Awesome . . . Totally enamored with Voormi
Michael R.
Seemed like a really great midweight layer. I really wanted to keep it and throw money at Voormi. I'm not fat or anything, but I'm not a 4%-body-fat beanpole either. Anyway, the fit was too tight. Next size up was a tent. Voormi, if you make this in a regular cut, you'll have a sale.

Love the hoodie. It keeps me warm while riding and winter hiking. 6’2”. 225 so I should ve ordered the xl not the xxl

Awesome hoodie! Holding up well so far. Has done well keeping me warm and dry. Wicks well.

Best technical hoodie on the market.
Martin E.
Very practical and looks nice. It is hard to find jackets like this, as this one has a draw-cord.
Annalise C.
Warm and fits. The thumb holes don't work very well, but everything else - from the zipper to the hood, and the merino wool inside, is perfect. It even adds a little wind resistance.
Randall H.
This hoodie is awesome. Perfect for layering or on it's on.

This is my second Voormi purchase (I’ve had the drift jacket for 2 years) and I can’t say enough good things. I’ve gotten caught in storms, that were both rain and snow, for hours and both kept me warm and dry. Excellent product! Excellent craftsmanship!

Love the confluence but gave it 4 Stars for some of the same reasons others have 1) hood is overly large but some of this could be taken up with #2) zipper needs to come up 1 1/2" to 2" higher in order to cover and protect the neck area better in the cold.....................so if Voormi is reading this they could have the zipper do up higher but incorporate it into the hood in order to snug up the hood..................much like the High E hood does.....................just trying to make it perfect!!
Warmth is great as I am an old dude (68) who feels it a lot more these days and it also helps cut the wind......................my goto layer in & out

I've been super impressed with this hoodie. Most of my merino wool hoodies are glorified base layers but this thing is incredibly warm for its thickness. The only reason I didn't give it 5/5 stars is because of how annoying it is fighting with the excessively tight sleeves. Its OK if I have just a T-shirt on underneath but if I'm wearing a long sleeve shirt is a real pain. I hope the sleeves stretch out because when I first got the hoodie they were practically compression sleeves.

Has a drawstring in the hem, which of course is essential to keep the cold out. Hard to find this feature, it seems, and I was delighted not just by that but by the overall quality, and its being wool. Not as thick as I imagined it would be. Smooth zipper. Went for the XXL, for everyday use and to layer under my shell jacket. Works perfectly.

Pockets too shallow....stuff easily falls out if not zipped.

A quick review/recommendation of the Voormi Confluence hoody:
When I flew from Australia to Ireland last week, I brought 6 students with me. They’re doing a one term exchange at our sister school in Ireland. All I had to do was accompany them and once they were delivered, I was free. Free to go to my photography workshop on Bere Island. So, there we were after a long flight from Sydney with a layover in Dubai at the Dublin airport and the bags come rolling off the belt. One by one, the boys grab their bags and wait expectantly so that I can grab mine and their adventure can begin. Forty five minutes later, we were still waiting for my bag and their adventure…. So, after the obligatory filing of reports and filling out of paperwork, I was assured that my bag would be sent out to the school by that night. A good chunk of my photography gear (the non-electronic sort of stuff like tripods and filters) was AWOL. Along with pretty much all my outdoor gear…. I did not have the warm and fuzzy about getting my gear.
So, for the first 8 days on a remote island off the coast of Ireland, I had a Sherpa Lithang rain shell, my Voormi Confluence hoody, a merino zip-t and some Helly-Hanson long johns that I bought in Cork on the way to the workshop. The guy running the workshop was Uber-cool and loaned me some wet weather pants and a pair of boots. Both of these were life savers.
But that hoody….
Oh, that splendid hoody.
On a remote island off the coast of Ireland in a three day rainstorm, it was a an absolute lifesaver. I wore it outdoors and I wore it indoors. The only time I didn’t wear it was at night when I hung it up to dry if it got wet during the day. It was a ‘good enough’ layer when there were just brief showers that passed through and an amazing insulating layer under my rain shell when it really ripped loose. It was warm, wet or dry. It was very well suited to the conditions, thermally, and easy to adjust via the zipper. If we had a weather break or were hiking in to a spot, I could zip it down, or in the mornings or waiting for long exposures to finish, I could zip it up for a bit more heat. It regulated in a way I find difficult get Goldilocks (juuuust riight....) with fleece.
My only concern is piling of the fabric (hence, 4 Stars). It’s wool! I expect piling sooner or later, but I haven’t had it that long and it’s already piling around the collar. That concerns me a little bit, but again, it’s wool, so I expect it. But in a garment this expensive, it concerns me just a bit. Now, if Voormi can just get a handle on shipping costs to Australia, I’ll order another one….

My first use of the Confluence Hoodie was on a trip rowing a boat down the upper Middle fork of the Salmon River in the Frank Church Wilderness area of Idaho. Water was fairly low so I rowed a boat down to Indian Creek for an outfitter that had just purchased several of my boats to the landing field at Indian Creek where customers are flown in. It was cool in the mornings and I rowed with the hoodie on over my River Runner Hoodie. It regulated heat very well, it deflected the inevitable splash from the white water, it moved with me as I made difficult rowing maneuvers in wild white water rock gardens and generally preformed at a very high level. I even wore it in my sleeping bag the first night when temps were in the 20's and it was comfortable. I love it.

Takes the High-E Hoodie and makes it full zip and shorter in front. Now the perfect 3 season hoodie.
Joel E.
The perfect hoodie for any activity or location. I'm glad that the zippers function smoothly and the arm length is just right.
Jason S.
This is my favorite garment. I was actually sad to see spring become too warm to wear this. Absolutely outstanding. Good sleeve length. Actually excellent sleeve length. Would like to see an overall length more in line with the High E. nonetheless a very good piece of gear.

amazing product, quality materials, perfect fit!

Love this for climbing and skiing. Keeps temperature perfectly regulated, sheds light precip, and super comfortable. This is now my go-to midlayer for cold weather activities!
Miranda H.
Bought this for my boyfriend and he likes it. Looks very spiffy and nice. The color is very pretty and the thumb holes are nice. Overall a nice sweater

Love the hoodie, I live in it. arms could be shorter or i could give up wine and wear a size smaller....like thats an option. i'll be back for more!
Randy H.
Great hoodie, can't wait to take it fishing. Good design, perfect pockets and really good wind resistance. Haven't had it out in the rain yet. Two things.. I originally got a med cause I'm skinny, but it was too small. Large fits well although sleeves are long ( I wear a 35" sleeve), but I'm sure this is by design. Also, the sleeves are tight (also by design I think)to the point that it's a bit of a struggle to pull shirtsleeves through when putting it on over a shirt. Small issues, like it.

love the new hoodie, great fit, very long sleeves, generous hood, and great zippers. only mild complaint would be i wish front zip would go a little higher on the neck but that may be partly the xl size. great temperature comfort range and water resistance. look forward to getting more voormi products.
