Like the design to fit over a baseball cap. Have used stocking caps in the past and they work okay, but come off sometimes and have no way to keep them anchored on your head. This does anchor on your head with the chin strap. Looks like it will work great. Haven't tried it outdoors yet, but will be using it hunting in Wyoming and Minnesota to name a few locations it will travel. And also will be carrying it (packs down well) and using it in the fall and winter.

I ordered a large and it was huge and I have a big head.
Returned for medium which fits better around the head, but is too short in the back

I love this hat! My ears are always cold so a baseball cap falls short if it gets chilly. I can pop this wool hat over my cap and be toasty. I wore it today under my bike helmet. Wow! So happy with how warm it kept my head and ears! Even though I have a small head, those cycling beanies are always too tight and don’t cover my ears very well. This woolly bugger is perfect! I can’t believe it fits over my baseball cap and under my helmet. I couldn’t be happier! Plus…wool!

This is the piece that makes a favorite cap a year-round head cover. Wear your cap and add the WB when temperatures drop. Pull up the flaps to cool off. Bravo!

My boyfriend loves this hat! He wears it while touring and fishing. He loves how it stops the wind whole ripping lines. He loves the fact that it fits over a hat and under a helmet. I like it because he looks really good wearing it!
